
Yolanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Yolanda works to create a safe space that fosters growth and healing. She firmly believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of the process. Her diverse range of approaches is tailored to meet each individual’s needs, with a strong focus on their unique strengths. She works with adults of all ages and specializes in life transitions. She also has experience supporting individuals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, and some personality disorders.
Yolanda received her MA in counseling from Northwestern University, where she was trained in psychodynamic therapy. She is also a trained trauma-informed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.
