
Jeffrey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). He specializes in helping clients embark on their journey toward healing by utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) to address anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, social anxiety, and phobias. Jeffrey also integrates a client-centered approach, motivational interviewing, and career construction theory to help clients effectively conceptualize and navigate their challenges.
Starting with young adults, Jeffrey works with clients across various stages of development who are experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, substance or alcohol dependencies, and process addictions. He is trained in domestic violence and abuser intervention, holds Level 2 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).
Jeffrey earned his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, specializing in trauma/crisis counseling and career counseling. He also completed the coursework and fieldwork required by the Illinois Certification Board for an addictions counseling certification through the College of DuPage. Jeffrey is a proud member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association, the Illinois Counseling Association, the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, the Illinois Association of Addiction Professionals, and the Chi Sigma Iota Academic and Professional Honor Society International. His mission is to meet clients where they are and help them resolve any challenges that may be preventing them from achieving their ideal experience.
