Jeffrey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Utilizing an integrative counseling approach incorporating person-centered therapy, choice theory, mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-based strategies, and family systems therapy, Jeffrey can effectively help clients conceptualize issues to begin the road towards healing.
Beginning with adolescents, Jeffrey specializes in clients from all stages of development who are experiencing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, phobia, and personality disorder. Additionally, Jeffrey’s areas of interest and experience are issues between couples or family members, those who have a history of trauma, domestic violence, struggle with substance and/or process addictions, chronic illness, and those that desire career guidance. Jeffrey is trained in domestic violence and abuser intervention, and is Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Jeffrey earned his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with specializations in trauma/crisis counseling and career counseling. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association, the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the Chi Sigma Iota Academic and Professional Honor Society International. Jeffrey’s mission is to help clients accomplish their vision or find new purpose and to help resolve any issues that might be standing in the way.
