Danielle Vaquer MA, LMFT

Danielle is a integrative therapist, LMFT

Danielle has worked in a variety of settings over the past 15+ years as a strengths-based therapist.  She finds that a person’s willingness and curiosity is essential in developing a deeper understanding of themself.

Her goal as your therapist, is to meet you where you are in your life’s challenge and to assist and encourage you to take action steps in building self-acceptance, self compassion and self awareness.  When working with Danielle, you will uncover and challenge limiting beliefs while developing new coping skills to address life’s challenges.   And as a result, you will begin to feel more confident, empowered and more satisfied with the quality of your life.

Danielle believes that change is possible at any age.  She welcomes your curiosity and nervousness.

Danielle is interested in working with people, primarily women, who are experiencing challenges with:

  • Grief and loss
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Divorce
  • Life transitions
  • Post-natal identity
  • Spirituality
  • Pre-marital anxiety
  • Self-esteem / Empowerment

Modalities used:

  • Internal Family Systems
    • parts work/ inner child exploration
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Mindfulness practices
    • guided meditation & imagery
  • Energy Medicine

Her heartfelt message to you is….The most important relationship you will ever cultivate is the one within, getting to know yourself in the shadow and the light.  Because you cannot alter or improve that which remains out of your awareness or in the shadow.  All aspects of you are welcome.

Danielle creates meaning in her life through raising her daughter, practicing Qi Gong, yoga, meditation, being outdoors, dancing and connecting with family and friends.  She received a BA in Psychology & Spanish from Sonoma State University and a MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family.
