What is Acupuncture?
The practice of Acupuncture began with the discovery that the stimulation of specific areas on the skin affects the functioning of certain organs of the body. It has evolved into a system of healing that restores and maintains health by the insertion of fine needles into meridians and acupoints just beneath the skin’s surface. These points correlate with organs and areas of the body. These areas contain energy and are called meridians. It is very powerful to help stimulate the body’s own healing response. Accupuncture is offered here at The Center by Gail Desch, MSOM, LAC.

Testimonial:
I suffered for many years from migraine headaches. I had headaches almost every single day. It was a rarity to have a headache free day. I started getting acupuncture, at first twice a week, for a couple weeks, and then once a week for a few more weeks. My headaches gradually diminished, and even if I got a headache, it would respond to medication very quickly. I still continue to have acupuncture every 2 or 3 weeks!
